Robert Lee Morris transformed the jewelry scene in the 80s and 90s with his bold, sculptural designs that felt both timeless and ahead of their time. Partnering with icons like Donna Karan, he brought a fresh, minimalist sensibility to jewelry, favoring smooth, organic forms in brass and sterling silver. Morris’s work empowered people to embrace statement pieces as everyday essentials, leaving a lasting mark on modern jewelry.
He released his first watch collection in 1996. This collection showcased his distinct design aesthetic, characterized by a slightly concave face that had a “Moon Crater” look. Made from sterling silver and leather, these watches were crafted with a minimalist approach, featuring a simple number system and no logos. This collection marked an exciting entry into the world of watchmaking for Morris, who is primarily known for his innovative jewelry designs
